Associate Dean for Graduate and Executive Programs - 501392
SUMMARY:
The Associate Dean for Graduate and Executive Programs is responsible for strategic leadership and financial stewardship of the Richard S. Reynolds Graduate School of Business and the Executive Education division of the Robins School of Business.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Business Development
Establish and nurture relationships with regional employers to understand their employees' needs for graduate and executive education
Engage with community and professional organizations to promote graduate business and executive education programs
Develop new programs to meet the needs of the local market
Leadership of the Richard S. Reynolds Graduate School of Business
Work closely with the Dean of the Robins School to establish and carry out the vision for graduate programs
Establish overall strategic direction for the graduate school
Set, monitor, and manage progress toward strategic goals
Work closely with Graduate Council to manage and update existing programs, ensure that all programs meet accreditation standards, and develop new programs as appropriate
Supervise staff and ensure excellence in delivery of graduate programs
Work closely with MBA Student Leadership Council to ensure that student needs and concerns are addressed
Work closely with the MBA Alumni Society to ensure that alumni remain engaged with the graduate school
Work closely with the Robins School's marketing and communications manager to promote graduate programs
Leadership of the Executive Education division of the Robins School of Business
Work closely with the Dean of the Robins School to establish and carry out the vision for executive programs
Establish overall strategic direction for Executive Education
Work closely with the Executive Education Advisory Committee to manage and update existing programs, and develop new ones
Supervise staff and ensure excellence in delivery of executive education programs
Work closely with the Robins School's marketing and communications manager to promote executive education programs
Teaching
Associate Deans teach two full-semester (3-credit graduate or 1-unit undergraduate) sections each year
QUALIFICATIONS:
Proven ability to think strategically
Demonstrated ability to lead business development efforts
Proven ability to lead and manage a diverse team of staff across departments
Demonstrated ability to influence change in an organization
Knowledge of trends in business, consulting, training, and in graduate business education
Strong oral and written communication skills; data analysis skills; presentation skills
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
M.B.A., or equivalent combination of education and experience
Track record of success in business development
At least seven (7+) years of experience providing administrative leadership required; preferably in an academic setting
WORK HOURS:
Full-time, exempt position
Monday - Friday, 8:30 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.; 7.75 hrs./day; 38.75 hrs./week
SALARY STRUCTURE:
Pay Grade 10 (Hiring Range $83,650.00 to $115,012.00 annually)
