Job Description

Purpose:

The Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at Texas A&M University seeks a postdoctoral researcher to advance the development of novel analog computing circuits and systems co-optimized for post-CMOS devices (memristors or non-volatile memories). As part of a bigger team, you will be involved in development of analog circuits and computing system based on memristor arrays and writing of the results into publications. You should have a strong background in analog circuits or computer architecture. Familiarity with post-CMOS computing technologies with novel memory devices (RRAM, MTJ, PCM, Flash, etc.).

Responsibilities:

  • Implementation of analog computing platforms customized to non-volatile memory chips (RRAM, PCM, Flash, etc.)
  • Development of customized analog/mixed circuits for analog in-memory-computing depending on applications/algorithms to maximize the energy efficiency and throughput.
  • Publish findings in peer-reviewed journals.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

What we need:

  • Doctoral Degree
  • No experience required.

What is helpful:

  • PhD degree in computer engineering, electrical engineering, or a closely related field.
  • Experience with post-CMOS computing algorithms/architectures research using memristive (non-volatile memory) devices/circuits.
  • Experience of developing DACs, ADCs, or TIAs of high energy efficiency or latency.
  • A record of publications in peer-reviewed journals, presentations at scientific conferences, patents, or any similar demonstrated public impact.

Work Location:

  • Main Campus – College Station, TX.
  • Some positions may have potential for a flexible work schedule or location.
