Essential Job Duties:
- Manage conversion and uploading of chemical inventories into EHSA. Assist customers as necessary.
- Manage the transition of customer safety plans into EHSA. Troubleshoot problems and create job aids as
- necessary. Track project progress and help resolve delays.
- Answer customer questions about training issues and EHSA.
- Edit and create documents as assigned.
- Assist with review and approval of BUA’s and IBC approvals.
- Coordinate Reporter/Moodle annual renewals for existing courses. Convert training to meet ADA
- requirements. Create class certificates. Maintain competencies for Reporter as they evolve and change.
- Set up new courses.
- Manage the accuracy of people and department data in EHSA.
- Primary point of contact for website issues. Track issues to resolution. A team member for website
- redesign efforts (future). Edit PDFs linked to web pages as directed and save files to the shared drive.
- Generate and maintain email distribution lists from EHSA for target communications.
Other assignments as necessary to support department needs.

Minimum Experience/Education
- High school Degree or equivalent; or an equivalent andOffice Administrative experience.
Department Required Skills
Required Qualifications:
- Comfortable with Microsoft suite of applications (excel, word, PowerPoint).
- Familiar with the Google platform
- Able to produce charts and graphs for department metrics.
- Excellent written and verbal skills
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task.
- EHS experience working in a higher education institution
- EHS software implementation experience
Preferred Years Experience, Skills, Training, Education
Education and Experience:
- Scientific degree required advanced degree preferred.
- 5 years experience in EHS with at least 3 years at the Institute of Higher Education.
- Preferred: CIH, CSP, CHMM, CCHO designation
- 1 year experience with EHS management software module deployment
- 1 year experience with institutional biological safety committee
- 2-year experience with research laboratory EHS inspections.
