Job Summary
This position will serve as a manager to oversee accreditation, scheduling, hiring and training for the Pharmacy Tech program. Coordinating classrooms and labs, assessment projects and continuing to enhance best practices in the program. Participation in EPAC committee work will be a component with industry relationships. Serve students in successfully obtaining the skills and knowledge needed to be successful completers of the Pharmacy Tech program.
Preferred Qualifications
- Recent teaching experience
Minimum Qualifications
- 5 years experience in pharmacy practice
- BS degree from an accredited university
- Experience managing staff
- Experience with diverse and adult learners
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to prioritize, meet deadlines, and manage multiple projects or assignments
- Ability to establish rapport with students, faculty, and external program partners through effective communication
- Problem solving skills
- Ability to represent the College, SLTC and the Pharmacy Technician program in a professional manner
- Ability to develop and monitor budgets
- Ability to implement and comply with national accreditation program standards
- Ability to evaluate site placements
- Ability to implement and comply with state Department of Occupational and Professional Licensing standards
- Computer skills including MS Office Suite, Word, Excel, Outlook
