Summary of Position
Under the general direction of the Manager of the Learning Design & Technology team in the AT Applications Support service line, provide consulting, training, and support services to NH K-12 teachers to enable the adoption of a common LMS in order to meet educational goals through effective use of educational technologies. Keep current on features and use cases of the portfolio of educational technology tools in use by iLearnNH clients, how those tools support instructional design principles and practices, and emerging trends in educational technology and learning design. Work closely with USNH Academic Technology (AT) and iLearnNH staff and subject matter experts to develop and deliver training and support in a variety of formats including face-to-face, online, and self-service. Work with USNH AT and iLearnNH staff to develop, document, and incorporate best practice recommendations for user guides and training. Participate in projects related to NH K-12 teacher professional development, educational technology innovation, and instructional support. Participate in USNH AT cross-functional projects related to evaluating, testing, and reviewing current and proposed education technologies.
Requires travel to New Hampshire K-12 schools.

Other minimum qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree and four years of experience in information or educational technology field or in instructional design and user support.
• Experience with a variety of teaching modalities.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Experience using a Learning Management System to deliver training.
• Must have a current driver’s license, a willingness to use a personal vehicle for travel, and a willingness to travel 20% of the time on a monthly basis to schools across New Hampshire.
Additional Preferred Qualifications
• Experience working in K-12 or higher education environment.
• Experience teaching or training including designing courses and delivering content.
• Experience in providing user support.

Duty/Responsibility
• Provide online and face to face training for NH K-12 teachers in using a Learning Management System and associated educational technologies to deliver instruction to K-12 students.
• Create self-help documentation and tutorials that support NH K-12 teachers in using educational technology, rich media, and/or pedagogical practices for more effective teaching.
• Utilize your knowledge of active pedagogy and instructional content to deliver and iterate on professional development experiences for educators.
• Participate in user support teams to improve and/or develop teaching support models.
Duty/Responsibility
In collaboration with the iLearnNH Learning Designer and Coordinator, develop two communities of practice for iLearnNH participants. One for teachers and one for technical support staff. Make these communities welcoming and inclusive spaces where users can go with questions or concerns about their usage of the LMS and related technology and to share their successes and wins. Make this an open community where users can share best practices and lesson plans or student learning activities that they think can benefit other educators and students across the state of NH.
Duty/Responsibility
Provide Tier 2 user support for all products in the educational technology portfolio with specialization in specific products as assigned. Participate in efforts to streamline and improve that support.

Participate in reviewing, testing, piloting, and deploying new technology features that enhance student success through improved learning outcomes, improved access to information and services through streamlined business processes, or enhanced user experience.
