Summary
The Department of Radiology is currently seeking a full-time GME Program Administrator Intermediate to serve as the Radiology Fellowship Coordinator for 3 accredited fellowships and the Medical Student Coordinator for the M2 and M3/M4 radiology elective.

Responsibilities*
Fellowship Program Administrator:
- Serve as liaison to Graduate Medical Education (GME) office and Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME)
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge and understanding of all current GME and ACGME regulations. Ensure that accreditation standards of varying accrediting agencies are met (ACGME, ACR, etc.)
- Ensures training program compliance with HOA Contract.
- Work closely with 3 fellowship program directors.
- Track, report, and ensure compliance with procedures regarding licensing, moonlighting, and duty hours
- Schedule, create agenda and take minutes at quarterly Clinical Competency Committee (CCC) and Program Evaluation Committee (PEC) meetings.
- House officer credentialing, on boarding & off boarding.
- Process terminations, additional pay, and LOA’s in M-Pathways.
- Complete trainee verifications.
- Assists in the preparation for ACGME Site Visits and GME Annual Program Evaluations.
- Manages and monitors VA FTE activity for variances.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Medical Student Coordinator:
- Serve as liaison to the Medical School
- Work closely with Medical Student Directors.
- Create monthly M3/M4 elective schedules.
- Create bi-weekly M2 schedules.
- Communicate with medical students and division regarding student electives.
- Create lecture and staff out schedules.
- Create and maintain elective curriculum in Canvas.
- Monitor and submit student grades in Oasis.
- Monitor and approve visiting student requests.
- Assist with M1 Radiology Day.
- Coordinate undergrad student shadowing.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications*
- 5+ years of progressively complex administrative assistant experience.
- Excellent oral and written interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability to exercise discretion and judgment in matters of sensitive or confidential nature.
- Considerable skill in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Access, and Power-Point), Mpathways, Mlearning, and Concur
- Ability to manage multiple and competing priorities. Individual must be able to work with a variety of personalities. Must communicate effectively with customers and other team members to keep assigned tasks moving forward, formatively evaluate progress and readjust.
- Self-motivated with excellent organizational skills and ability to multitask in a team environment. Must be able to prioritize tasks that will change on a daily basis.
- High level of interpersonal and communication skills required along with the ability to problem solve issues without direct supervision.
Desired Qualifications*
- Bachelor’s Degree
- GME experience
- Experience in an academic health system
- Knowledge of University policies, practices and processes regarding house officers.
- Knowledge of medical license and DEA requirements
Work Schedule
Monday - Friday 7:30am - 4:00pm (Hybrid Schedule)
Background Screening
Michigan Medicine conducts background screening and pre-employment drug testing on job candidates upon acceptance of a contingent job offer and may use a third party administrator to conduct background screenings. Background screenings are performed in compliance with the Fair Credit Report Act. Pre-employment drug testing applies to all selected candidates, including new or additional faculty and staff appointments, as well as transfers from other U-M campuses.
