The Dosimetrist provides dose calculations, image fusion, and anatomical structure contouring, computerized treatment planning, verifies prescribed radiation prescriptions, and participates in special radiation treatment procedures. The Dosimetrist also works very closely with physicists and physicians and therapists to ensure the safety and quality of the treatments provided.

This is a full-time, partially remote position (3 days remote and 2 days onsite) working the day shift Monday through Friday and is located at Scripps Mercy Hospital San Diego in the Hillcrest community.

New Hire Incentive available up to $4,000 for those who qualify.

In order to remain eligible for your retention incentive the following criteria must be met:

• Must remain in original hired FTE Status and Shift (if specified in offer letter)
• Must remain in original department/specialty
• Must remain in original Job Title

Transfers to other locations will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis and may result in forfeiting the remaining incentive bonus unless specifically noted in your offer letter.

Required Qualifications:

• Manipulation of numbers and complex problem-solving skills.
• Certified Medical Dosimetrist (CMD)

Preferred Qualifications:

• Familiarity with Varian Eclipse treatment planning and ARIA EMR
• College degree with X-ray, or Radiation Therapy focus, or equivalentv
